A Perspective helps focus on a particular viewpoint of the model. it isolates a set of assertions that their connections can be shown on a single diagram. This gives a ‘zoomed-in’ view. The perspective allows the assertions and their connections to be comprehended and edited to ensure coherence of part of the model.
A Perspective:
— Is a set of Assertions.
— May be displayed in a diagram.
— Contains Assertions that work together to exhibit behavior to be analyzed.
— May include all Assertions performed by a single Authority.
— Has a set of Connections that pass information into and out of the Perspective.
— May indicate a separation of concerns.
— May be created to gather assertions with similar characteristics.
— Connectors are not included in the stored Perspective. But can be extracted and shown on a diagram.
— May overlap with other Perspectives.
